This design focuses more on brilliant color outside the eye more than in it. The color within the eye is beautiful but is highly outdone by the design outside of it. And since you are trying to focus on a brilliant eye color because of the contact, there should be brilliant color ON the eye. Bump up the saturation on the color of the eye and bump down the saturation of the blues outside. Something bothers me about the difference in size of the contact to the eye, I would have liked to have seen the same size ratio between those two. Also the typography needs a little work - both the font type and placement seem a little arbitrary in choice. You were onto a good idea, some work on the execution and it could be great portfolio work. +6/10
